Count #1 - Mae-no-Kuzushi:
The attacker and defender start in kumite kamae. The attacker moves forward
with a sliding step, suri ashi, and attacks migi jodan gyaku tsuki. Simultaneously
the defender moves forward with the front foot, blocks jodan uke & executes a
reverse punch.
The block is more than just a jodan uke. Its purpose is to move in and under
the attack to redirect the attacking vector up.
