Canadian fighters fare well in the US Weight Category Karate Championships held Saturday, January 28 in Los Angeles, California.

Four competitors respresented the IKOK-C at this event.  Results as follows:

Johnny LeBlanc - 1st place

Baldalip Thind - 2nd place

Michi Nagase - 3rd place

Nathan Howat - 4th place

All four competitors fought extremely well through some very tough opponents.  In addition to fighting, the team was fortunate to meet several celebrities in attendance at the tournament.  Movie actors Sonny Chiba  and Dolf Lundgren cheered on the competitors and were available to award the trophies and pose for pictures with the team.
