"The 2007 Newton Karate tournament was another exciting event for the Collingwood students and their parents. Prior to the competition the kids were doing fighting training for six weeks in their dojo. Finally the day came, we met early morning at our dojo in Vancouver. Even though it was a very cold black morning with snow coming down, every student was there, ready to go.

This year more students were fighting in the contact divisions as well, and as they gain more confidence and experience we hope that in the future they will continue to train and compete hard to better them-selves. 

Good job girls and boys! Congratulations on your achievements!
