Visitor from
Japan (August, 2007) |

The final summer, Thursday
evening, training at the Richmond Dojo included two IKO members
from Japan.
Sensei Mehrdad Eskandari (3rd dan)
and his son, Amir Mehdi Eskandari (Ni-Kyu) are on a family
visit to Canada. Both students train in "Gunma Prefecture" in
Japan with Hosono Shihan. Originally from Iran, Sensei
Eskandari has lived in Japan for the past seventeen years.
In addition to these international
IKO members, several student fro other dojos were in
attendance.
