PART 2 - Visit from Dawn-Leah McDonald (July 27th, 2003)

This morning, I had the enjoyable experience of training with Sempai Hiro and some of
his students in Victoria. The class was small, as many students are on summer holidays,
but there was much spirit! We did an excellent warmup and stretching, then performed
kihon. He had some interesting variations for ido geiko and ippon kumite, then there
were kumite combinations and some light sparring. Definitely a good time! Osu
