PART 3 - Year End Training (Jun 29, 2001)

The year end training and wrap up party was held at the dojo on Thursday, June 28.
Training brought together all students from the Children's, Junior's and Senior's
classes.
Brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents and relatives joined the class to watch the
students as they enjoyed one hour of training and demonstrations. In all, over one
hundred students and families members were in attendance.
The class was just over one hour long and covered kihon, ido geiko, ippon kumite, goshin
jitsu, kata and kumite. A special treat was to watch a variety of the students of all
ages attempt to break a board, for many of the children, this being their first time.
After training, pictures were taken of the whole class, a number of new belts were
presented and food was served as everyone in attendance then had the opportunity to
socialize.
