PART 18 - IKOK-C sponsored "Kick-a-thon" (October 22nd, 2003)
|
The Richmond Dojo has recently participated in the IKOK-C sponsored "Kick-a-thon",
with all student contributing and giving their best efforts to the 5 minute time
limit to achieve the maximum number of kicks possible.
The IKOK-C (International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan, Canada) a federally
registered non-profit organization put together a fund raising event to support a
program whereby Kyokushin members in Canada wishing to excel provincially, nationally,
and internationally can pursue these goals with assistance from the national organization.
The "Kick-a-thon" was the first step to realize this goal. Prizes were offered for
different levels of participation. All Richmond dojo members worked hard to give
their best effort to this goal.
