PART 11 - Year End Training and Party (Jun 20, 2002)

Year-end training for the Children & Junior classes was held Thursday, June 20.
Members of the children, junior and seniors classes performed kihon, ido geiko,
goshin jitsu, kumite and board breaking for the many spectators in attendance.
Parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents enjoyed the training and many were
surprised at the abilities of the students. Several students from the children's
class had the opportunity to break boards for the first time. Much to their surprise,
a number of students were successful in their attempts.
A party was held after training for everyone in attendance. As many of the children
are involved in a variety of different activities during the summer, training for
these students is not held again until September.
