Mission Statement
Kyokushin Karate is an art offering many things according to the immediate and long term aims of the trainee. Ultimately, one realizes that in transcending the kicks, the punches and the kata, there is a special spirit in the heart of the participants.

History of the Dojo
Penticton Westside Kyokushin Karate first opened the doors September 2001. The original Penticton Dojo finally closed after about 16 years. The original instructor of the Penticton Dojo Sempai Rainer Udala, later retired from teaching and handed his dojo down to Sempai Terry Shivas. After the Penticton Dojo closed down both Sempai Terry and Brent decided to open their own dojo's in Penticton to provide more coverage around the Penticton area. We started out small but are now growing in a great ommuntity, after about 3 different facilities! We are now settled for good at Queen's Park School.
