PART 2 - Year End Barbeque (August 11th, 2003)
The Rocky Mountain Dojo closed off the 2002/2003 training season with the awarding of new belts to students, year-end student awards and a family barbeque at Shihan’s home in Cranbrook.

Annual student awards were given also. Awards are given for spirit, technique and most improved in both the senior class and junior class. As well an all around student award is given to the student who has good spirit, good technique, improves and fis dedicated to the dojo and its students. This years awardees are:

Congratulations to all the new grade holders and award winners.

After the award ceremony the eating started and lots of food was consumed. Later on Shihan saddled one of his horses and gave horseback rides to many of the young students.

Everyone went away looking forward to starting training for the fall season. Until train hard, see you in September!!!
